We thought that we'd made a statement by brewing the Dark Mandarin, a Bavarian Dark soaked with a shitload of freshly harvested Mandarina Bavaria hops.
Yep, we thought...
But shortly after we made it, the idea rose how it would be to use one kilo of hop per 10L of beer. And not just hop pellets, again this gorgeous freshly harvested Mandarina Bavaria!
And as ideas are meant to be realised at Batches, we decided to brew such a beer as soon as the new harvest was available. This time, in order to underline the mandarine aroma and flavour, we also decided to adapt the color of the beer: orange!
So, this is a straight to the cone hop forward ultimate bitter and savoury wet hopped IPA! It's a drug for hop lovers! It's HOPSTACY!
